Civil Liberties vs. Airport Scanners

Prior 9/11                                                                                                   

*Rules not as strict.                                                                

*Easier and quicker getting on to airplanes.

*Kitchen utensils not a big deal.

*We didn’t have full body scanners.

*Safer to fly.                                                                                    Post 9/11

*There is a list of what you can and cannot pack.

*Body scanners.

*Strip searchers.

*Takes forever to get through security.

*Lots of delays because of security.
